NDC 2008, the Agenda

An entry about conferences Publication date 24. April 2008 12:32

largeThe complete agenda for the Norwegian Developer Conference 2008 has been made available now, and boy what an agenda it is! Each of the two days boasts six (!) tracks, with plenty of diversity to pick from. There's development topics like an introducton to ASP.NET MVC by Scott Hanselman, a crash course in Regular Expressions by Roy Osherove, a LINQ Overview by Mats Torgersen, building Rich Internet Applications with Silverlight by Chad Hower. Then there's more process oriented talks about Scrum by Ken Schwaber, the Natural Laws of Agile Software Development by Ron Jeffries and Chet Hendrickson, the definition of What is Waste in Software Development by Mary Poppendieck, a look at Agile in Real Life by Roy Osherove... plus plenty more besides. Yikes, I'm going to have to think long and hard about which talks to attend here - where's that Duplicator machine Calvin and Hobbes buildt when you need it?! ;)

Anyways, Microsoft Norway (Rune Grothaug & co) and Programutvikling have gone above and beyond here and pulled together a line-up fit for a world-class conference, so make sure you don't miss out if you haven't got a ticket already. Great work guys, see you there!

Welcome!

My name is Fredrik Kalseth, and this is my blog - thanks for visiting! I am fortunate enough to work with what I love for a living, and this blog is essentially the biproduct of that.

I work as a senior consultant for Capgemini, and am also an active participant in the Norwegian .NET community, as an avid attendee but also as a speaker (most recently at NNUG and MSDN Live).

As a developer, I have a wide circle of interest. My primary passion is for agile, test-driven development, with focus on best practices and clean code. That said, I also love to work on the frontend, especially with web development.

On Twitter? My handle is fkalseth. On LinkedIn? I`m there too.
