NDC Update

An entry about conferences Publication date 7. May 2008 11:59

Just over a month away, the Norwegian Developer Conference 2008  is picking up some media coverage here at home. For my Norwegian speaking readers, go check out this story published by  digi.no yesterday.

Rune Grothaug also commented on my earlier post with some exciting information about the agenda:

"We might actually do some changes to the agenda. Did I say that before? Nope, I don't think so. We are thinking about running an agile panel at the end of day two, featuring Roy, Mary, Ken, possibly Rafal and Ron. And maybe Scott will play the host part.. Should be fun... Also I have another speaker up my sleeve who nobody knows about yet. A guy from the Live Dev team @ MS. Furthermore I might replace both Chad's session with session way cooler. I fear the Silverlight session of Chad's will be too high level for this crowd and want to put on something even more exciting. I wonder if not people would be more enthused by .NET Cosmos and Chad's "Fun with .Net" sessions... We'll see. Drop by NDC where these changes will be reflected shortly.... Rock on!"

That sounds great :)

Welcome!

My name is Fredrik Kalseth, and this is my blog - thanks for visiting! I am fortunate enough to work with what I love for a living, and this blog is essentially the biproduct of that.

I work as a senior consultant for Capgemini, and am also an active participant in the Norwegian .NET community, as an avid attendee but also as a speaker (most recently at NNUG and MSDN Live).

As a developer, I have a wide circle of interest. My primary passion is for agile, test-driven development, with focus on best practices and clean code. That said, I also love to work on the frontend, especially with web development.

On Twitter? My handle is fkalseth. On LinkedIn? I`m there too.
