TeamCity and Windows Server 2008 at NNUG Tonight

An entry about nnug Publication date 24. April 2008 16:14

I probably should have blogged about this earlier, but you know how it goes - work taking up too much time and blah blah... ;) Anyways, tonight we're hosting another .NET user group meeting, and this time we're opening with a session on Jetbrains TeamCity, a tool with lots of continous integration and build features that integrates nicely with several environments including Visual Studio and TFS. One of my favorites, is its ability to verify that a checkin compiles and passes all unit tests on the server, before accepting it.

After that, we'll have some pizza and mingle for a bit, and then get back into the thick of it with a look at Windows Server 2008 and in particular IIS 7.0.

Oh yes, and the prizes you can win! Like every month, we're giving away a license for Jetbrains Resharper to one lucky atendee - but this month we've not only got that, but also a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate to give away.

So make sure to drop by if you can; doors open at 5pm, and entrance is free as always. All the details are here.

Welcome!

My name is Fredrik Kalseth, and this is my blog - thanks for visiting! I am fortunate enough to work with what I love for a living, and this blog is essentially the biproduct of that.

I work as a senior consultant for Capgemini, and am also an active participant in the Norwegian .NET community, as an avid attendee but also as a speaker (most recently at NNUG and MSDN Live).

As a developer, I have a wide circle of interest. My primary passion is for agile, test-driven development, with focus on best practices and clean code. That said, I also love to work on the frontend, especially with web development.

On Twitter? My handle is fkalseth. On LinkedIn? I`m there too.

NDC 2010
