On February the 5th I´ll be giving a talk about Test Driven DevelopmentDesign at the local .NET user group here in Stavanger, where I now live. My talk will focus on the design aspect of TDD, showing how testability is one of the benefits of applying solid design principles (which are covered in Glenn´s session before mine).

The full agenda for the night is as follows:

16:30 – 17:00: Pizza & mingling
17:00 – 17:45: MCTS 70-536 Exam preparation session by Niall Merrigan from ErgoGroup
17:55 – 18:40: Best Practices: SOLID Principles by Glenn Henriksen, ErgoGroup
18:45 – 19:30: Test Driven Development/Design by Fredrik Kalseth, Capgemini
19:40 – 20:30: Behavior Driven Development by Glenn Henriksen, ErgoGroup

As always NNUG events are free – all you need to do is sign up and show up!

Welcome!

My name is Fredrik Kalseth, and this is my blog - thanks for visiting! I am fortunate enough to work with what I love for a living, and this blog is essentially the biproduct of that.

I work as a senior consultant for Capgemini, and am also an active participant in the Norwegian .NET community, as an avid attendee but also as a speaker (most recently at NNUG and MSDN Live).

As a developer, I have a wide circle of interest. My primary passion is for agile, test-driven development, with focus on best practices and clean code. That said, I also love to work on the frontend, especially with web development.

On Twitter? My handle is fkalseth. On LinkedIn? I`m there too.

NDC 2010

The conference to attend this summer happens June 16th-18th in Oslo, Norway. Are you going? Be sure to catch my talk on AOP while you're there!
